Squash Boasts Top US Squash Sanctioned Team League Players From Around The Country

Tim Dearnley, Philadelphia, PA.

Tim, originally from Brooklyn, a former player at the Hill School (PA) and Wesleyan University led his Racquet Club of Philadelphia team to the PSRA Division B title this past fall, compiling an 8-0 individual record along the way. Tim is currently coaching squash at Germantown Academy.

Alfredo de Lima, New York, NY.

Alfredo, Co-captain for Uptown Bar Vespa in the New York Squash 4.5 Division, has started the season with an undefeated 5-0 record. Originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Alfredo played soccer and volleyball at Concordia College. Alfredo works in business development for New York Life and also has a part-time stint as a cattle breeder in Brazil, where his family owns a ranch in the rain forest.

Jonathan Wilt, Jenkingtown, PA.

Jonathan went 9-0 to lead Huntingdon Valley to the Division C finals of the PSRA league, where they lost by a single point to the Racquet Club of Philadelphia. Jonathan also plays for the Huntingdon Valley B squad and has been playing squash for nearly 20 years. Jonathan is a financial planner and has been with Lincoln investment for twenty eight years.

Leon Hovsepian, Brooklyn, NY.

Leon has been playing squash on the New York University Club team since 2006. He grew up in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is currently undefeated for the year playing for his undefeated NYU squad in the 4.0 New York Squash league. Leon works in real estate, doing finance for affordable housing in NYC.

After joining the team midseason last year, Kyle is 10-0 in his first full season for his 2.5 Milton Academy team. Kyle has only been playing squash for two years, having played tennis at Lynn University. He also won the Mass State Championship at the 2.5 level last year, his first ever competitive squash tournament.

Pamicka Marinello, Buffalo, NY.

Pamicka is undefeated, playing against men for the Buffalo Club AB3 squad. She began playing squash her freshmen year at Nichols School, where she was the No. 1 player all four years. After winning the Buffalo Women’s City Singles Championship in 2011, she went on to play at the University of St Andrews during her freshman year abroad. She is currently a student at Canisius College, works part-time at Hodgson Russ LLP, and assists coaching junior squash at The Buffalo Club.

Bart Fite, Seattle, WA.

Bart learned how to play squash after moving to Hong Kong as in-house counsel for a company there in 1990. Bart got hooked on Hong Kong’s squash league with nearly twenty-five divisions, started Mandarin Associates, learned soft ball and has been a league player in Seattle for several years. His attraction to the Seattle league is a result of its diverse, international group willing to devote Tuesday evenings to chasing a small rubber ball with noteworthy intensity before sharing drinks and stories afterwards. Bart is currently 11-1 playing No. 2 on his division 2 team.

Tim Boorady, Buffalo, NY.

Tim has started out the season 11-0 for the undefeated “Nomads” in the D Division of the BSRA League. He is a native of Buffalo and has just started playing squash this year after playing football and running track in High School. Tim currently works for Citigroup as a Middle Office Trade Analyst.
