How many of you have heard the story where a friend of a friend got hit in the eye during a squash match? Sometimes we get lucky and escape with minor injuries; other times players aren’t so lucky. Let this act as a reminder to all players that when competing in a US SQUASH sanctioned event, protective eyewear is mandatory. Don’t take the risk of not wearing eyewear—US Squash’s elite athletes will also be required to wear eyewear in all professional tournaments as of January 1 2014, regardless of rules on their respective tours.
