A team of 24 United States juniors traveled to White Oaks, Niagra-on-the-lake, Ontario, in August to face-off against Ontario juniors in the Ontario-American Challenge. The U.S. commanded the tournament winning their fourth straight Ont-Am title. The U.S. team, consisting of twelve girls and twelve boys in the U13, U15, and U17 divisions, was coached by Alex Stait, Graham Bassett, Fernanda Rocha, Gilly Lane, and Simba Muhwati.

Before the team competition, Team USA and Team Ontario trained together, running various drills and playing practice matches and round robins. The two teams also got to spend time together participating in group activities off the court, such as a visit to Niagara Falls and a joint team dinner.

The team competition took place August 11 in front of a large and enthusiastic crowd. Team USA had a stand-out performance winning 20 out of their 24 matches. Even the losses were close, with the American players not going down in less than four games. Especially impressive were the GU13 and BU13 teams which won all of their matches, not dropping a single game.
