On Tuesday April 10th world renowned Squash player Jahangir Khan inaugurated the Dover Squash Academy in Natick, MA. Dover Squash & Fitness, home of the Dover Squash Academy, opened in March of 2012 but Dover Squash Academy has been around for 25 years and continues to maintain their mission to support and encourage the sport through coaching and mentorship.
Dover Squash Academy has a large junior academy of different ages and standards in addition to training college athletes and adults. They are currently offering private lessons, clinics and summer camps in addition to organizing tournaments and exhibition matches to assist with player development. Dover Squash Academy has world class Squash Professionals on staff including Arshad Iqbal Burki, Belkys Velez and the Head Squash Professional and Director, Paul Mathieson. Mathieson brings thirteen years of experience to Dover Squash Academy as a professional player and a National Team Player from the United Kingdom. He holds a degree in Sport and Physical Education from the University of Birmingham and has transformed junior players into collegiate players and many into state and national champions.
“I want to inspire our players and in- still a passion and love of playing squash,” says Mathieson. “Our coaching staff will help personalize and achieve the goals of every player at any skill level.
